Breakdown of the 1 Hour Police Officer Show
0-10 Minutes: Meet & Greet
Attention, Junior Officers! Your Police Academy training is about to begin!
Your Police Officer Entertainer arrives from headquarters ready to meet the birthday child and their group of excited recruits.
But first, there’s an important investigation to complete… who exactly is the birthday child?
Your silly Police Officer tries to work it out but gets it hilariously wrong several times before finally identifying the special birthday boy or girl.
The children then get the chance to ask their Police Officer some very important questions. How do police officers catch the bad guys? Where is the police car? What happens at the police station?
Once the investigation is complete, the birthday child is given the important role of helping lead the new team of Junior Officers through their training.
10-20 Minutes: Police Academy Training Games
It’s time to find out whether the children have what it takes to become Junior Police Officers!
Your Police Officer Entertainer puts the children through a series of energetic games and challenges designed to test their:
- Speed
- Agility
- Listening skills
- Fast reactions
- Teamwork
- Police Academy skills
The Junior Officers may practise racing to catch imaginary robbers, sneaking through secret missions, dodging obstacles and responding quickly to their Police Officer’s instructions.
20-30 Minutes: Rescue Me!
Police rescue mission!
Some of the Junior Officers have become trapped and their teammates need to work together to rescue them.
A group of children may find themselves hilariously wrapped up in paper while the rest of the team uses speed, sneaking and clever thinking to set them free.
Sometimes even Mum or Dad may end up needing to be rescued too!
The children will need teamwork, problem-solving skills and quick reactions to complete the mission.
30-40 Minutes: Bomb Scramble – Police Emergency Mission
Quick, officers! The countdown has started!
Colourful training bombs have been scattered around the Police Academy training zone and the Junior Officers must work together to get them under control before time runs out.
The children race around collecting and scrambling colourful sports cones as they attempt to complete their Bomb Scramble mission.
They’ll need speed, lightning-fast reactions and plenty of teamwork to clear the area before the final countdown!
It’s fast, energetic and perfect for getting the whole group moving, laughing and working together like a true police team.
40-45 Minutes: Police Officer Magic
Your Police Officer has another surprise…
Apparently, solving mysteries isn’t their only unusual talent!
Your entertainer performs a fun magic trick and asks the children to use their detective skills and imagination to help make something incredible happen.
The Junior Officers say the magic words and watch as the impossible seems to happen right in front of them.
Expect plenty of surprised faces, laughter and cheering.
45-55 Minutes: Police Parachute & Balloon Baton Challenge
Emergency response team… get ready!
A giant colourful parachute is spread across the party area and becomes part of the children’s next Police Academy challenge.
The Junior Officers work together as they lift, shake and move the parachute while following their entertainer’s instructions.
The children may hide underneath, race around it and pretend they’re taking part in an important police rescue mission.
We can also place the birthday child in the middle while everyone moves around the parachute and sings a huge Happy Birthday!
This is a fantastic part of the party for photos!
Once the parachute challenge is complete, the Junior Officers receive colourful balloon training batons for one final silly mission.
The children learn the chop, slice, wiggle and, most importantly, the TICKLE!
A few brave dads or grown-ups may even be recruited to play the mischievous pretend bad guys while the Junior Officers work together to save the day.
55-60 Minutes: Happy Birthday, Stickers, Magnets & Photos
Police Academy training complete!
The Junior Officers have successfully completed their training and finished their final mission.
Your Police Officer Entertainer gives each child a sticker and magnet to celebrate completing their Police Academy training.
Everyone then joins in for a huge Happy Birthday before there is time for souvenir photos with the birthday child’s special Police Officer guest.
Your entertainer then says goodbye to the newly trained Junior Officers before heading back to headquarters for their next important mission!
Want an Extra Half Hour?
Extend your Police Officer party to a 1.5 hour Gold Character Show for even more games and activities.
Your entertainer can keep the Police Academy adventure going with additional fun including Pass the Parcel and our Police Patrol Spinner Workshop.
The children create their own colourful spinning pinwheel and transform it into a Police Patrol Spinner inspired by spinning emergency lights and exciting police adventures.
It’s a fun hands-on activity that fits naturally into the theme and gives the children something they can take home after the party.
Want Even Longer?
Our 2 hour Platinum Character Show gives the children even more time with their entertainer and allows you to choose additional entertainment options.
Extra Balloon Creations
You can also add extra balloon twisting so your Police Officer Entertainer can stay longer and create fun balloon designs for the children.
Children may receive balloon swords, flowers, dogs or other fun balloon creations.
This is especially popular after the balloon baton challenge, as balloons can occasionally pop during all the action!
Face Painting Option – Female Police Officer!
If your Police Officer party has a female police officer, face painting can also be selected as an additional option with our Gold and Platinum Character Show packages.
This gives families another fun choice when deciding how they would like to extend their Police Officer birthday entertainment.
