Breakdown of the 1 Hour Cowboy or Cowgirl Show
0-10 Minutes: Meet & Greet
Howdy, partners! Your Wild West adventure is about to begin!
Your Cowboy or Cowgirl Entertainer arrives ready to meet the birthday child and their group of excited little Western recruits.
But first, there’s one very important mystery to solve… who exactly is the birthday child?
Your entertainer tries to guess and gets it hilariously wrong several times before finally discovering the special birthday boy or girl.
The children then get the chance to ask their Wild West guest some very important questions. Can they lasso? Have they ever ridden a horse? Have they ever searched for gold?
Once introductions are complete, the birthday child is given the important role of helping lead the new team of Junior Cowboys and Cowgirls through their training.
10-20 Minutes: Wild West Training Games
It’s time to find out whether the children have what it takes to survive an adventure in the Wild West!
Your Cowboy or Cowgirl Entertainer puts the children through a series of energetic games and challenges designed to test their:
- Speed
- Agility
- Listening skills
- Fast reactions
- Teamwork
- Wild West survival skills
The children may practise racing to catch imaginary outlaws, hiding from danger, dodging obstacles and moving quickly through a series of fun Western-themed challenges.
20-30 Minutes: Rescue Me!
Wild West rescue mission!
Some of the Junior Cowboys and Cowgirls have been captured and their friends must work together to rescue them.
A group of children may find themselves hilariously wrapped up in paper while the rest of the team uses speed, sneaking and teamwork to set them free.
Sometimes even Mum or Dad may end up getting caught up in the Wild West chaos!
The children will need quick thinking, teamwork and plenty of courage to complete their rescue mission.
30-40 Minutes: Bomb Scramble – Wild West Emergency!
Quick, partners! The countdown has started!
Colourful training bombs have been scattered around the Wild West and the Junior Cowboys and Cowgirls must work together to get them under control before time runs out.
The children race around collecting and scrambling colourful sports cones as they attempt to complete their Bomb Scramble mission.
They’ll need speed, lightning-fast reflexes and plenty of teamwork to clear the area before the final countdown!
It’s fast, energetic and perfect for getting the whole group moving, laughing and working together like a true Wild West team.
40-45 Minutes: Wild West Magic
Your Cowboy or Cowgirl Entertainer has another surprise…
Apparently, there’s a little bit of magic hidden out in the Wild West too!
Your entertainer performs a fun magic trick and asks the children to help make something incredible happen.
With a few magic words, some imagination and help from the birthday child, the impossible seems to happen right in front of them.
Expect plenty of surprised faces, laughter and cheering.
45-55 Minutes: Wild West Parachute & Balloon Challenge
All hands on the ranch!
A giant colourful parachute is spread across the party area and becomes part of the children’s next Wild West adventure.
The Junior Cowboys and Cowgirls work together as they lift, shake and move the parachute through a series of energetic games and challenges.
The children may hide underneath, race around it and follow their entertainer’s instructions as they pretend to sneak through the Wild West on an important mission.
We can also place the birthday child in the middle while everyone moves around the parachute and sings a huge Happy Birthday!
This is a fantastic part of the party for photos!
Once the parachute mission is complete, the children receive colourful balloon training swords or balloon creations for one final challenge.
The Junior Cowboys and Cowgirls learn the chop, slice, wiggle and, most importantly, the TICKLE!
A few brave dads or grown-ups may even be recruited to play the mischievous Wild West outlaws!
55-60 Minutes: Happy Birthday, Stickers, Magnets & Photos
Wild West training complete!
The Junior Cowboys and Cowgirls have successfully completed their training and finished their Wild West mission.
Your Cowboy or Cowgirl Entertainer gives each child a sticker and magnet to celebrate completing their training.
Everyone then joins in for a huge Happy Birthday before there is time for souvenir photos with the birthday child’s special Wild West guest.
Your entertainer then says goodbye to the newly trained Cowboys and Cowgirls before riding off into the Brisbane or Gold Coast sunset!
Want an Extra Half Hour?
Extend your Cowboy or Cowgirl party to a 1.5 hour Gold Character Show for even more Wild West games and activities.
Your entertainer can keep the adventure going with extra fun including Pass the Parcel and our Wild West Wind Spinner Workshop.
The children create their own colourful spinning pinwheel and transform it into a Wild West Wind Spinner inspired by windy plains, ranch adventures and life out on the frontier.
It’s a fun hands-on activity that fits naturally into the theme and gives the children something they can take home after the party.
Want Even Longer?
Our 2 hour Platinum Character Show gives the children even more time with their entertainer and allows you to choose additional entertainment options.
Extra Balloon Creations
You can also add extra balloon twisting so your entertainer can stay longer and create balloon animals and other fun designs for the children.
Children may receive balloon swords, flowers, dogs or other fun balloon creations.
This is especially popular after the balloon challenge, as balloon creations can occasionally pop during all the action!
Face Painting Option – Cowgirl Hosts
If you book a Cowgirl host, face painting can also be selected as an additional option with our Gold and Platinum Character Show packages.
This gives families another fun choice when deciding how they would like to extend their Wild West birthday entertainment.
Please note: Face painting is available with selected female hosts only and is subject to performer availability.
