Should You Cancel Your Child’s Birthday Party Because of COVID-19 Restrictions?
Super Party Heroes Found a way to still Celebrate Your Child’s Birthday Party during these hard times!
The prime minister announced recently that social gatherings at home are only allowed for only 10 people. YES, that’s 10 people including the number in the household, a small number of guests, and/plus the entertainer. Because of that, a lot of our clients are worrying about canceling or postponing the event. While in fact, there are still options, Worry no more! Super Party Heroes came up with options and GREAT plans so the party can still go ahead while following the new COVID rules.
1. SPLIT THE PARTY
If you are having a party at home or in a park near you, you can still have all the guests at your party if you just extend the party for a little longer. We have best structured the event for you so the birthday child will not have the same experience twice. Different games and activities will be played so your child feels that it will be a new experience for having the second group arrived.
We will split the guests into two groups so each group receives half of the time of activities with the entertainer (one group could arrive earlier and the other group later).
You might want to have smaller plates of food so that you can keep back some of the food for the other group – maybe even have cupcakes for the first group and sing happy birthday twice and then they go off with a cupcake instead of one of the groups missing out on the cake.
2. HIRE A VENUE
Several Venues for hire in Queensland are trained and ensured with hygiene standards, non-contact training, frequent cleaning, and disinfection. The allowed number of guests differs from one venue to another as it will depend as to how big the size of the venue is, some venues can only accommodate 30 people max and some can accommodate more, either way, this will be a great option to have the party especially if you have more than 10 guests at the party.
If you are calling around to hire a venue, please make sure to ask if they have a COVID Safety Plan. Here are some venues you might consider, the list below are venues that our current and past clients book during COVID Restrictions.
